About Us

EMMANUEL is Hebrew, Immanuw'el for “God with us.”

COMMUNITY, koinónia, for “fellowship” is to project a welcoming sense for all.

CARE in Greek, diakonéō means “to serve, minister to”

EMMANUEL COMMUNITY CARE is a gathering of believers, seeking to serve, minister, and care for the needs of others, trusting the Lord’s guidance in an active, practical way, necessary for the soul and spiritual wellbeing.

Our Logo

The three persons represent the tripartite setup in Emmanuel Community CARE - the seeker (client), the provider (counsellor) and God, the trinity in the midst.

Purple in the logo represents the royal presence of the Holy Spirit in the counselling setting.

Orange represents the humanness of God through the warmth and presence of the helper – God’s presence in flesh.

Blue represents feelings of the seeker who may be undergoing emotional distress or mental health challenges. It also carries some connection to the heavens, or to God Himself.

The circle formed by the three parties holding hands represents the unity of hearts and presence of the three beings mentioned above.

Our Values and Supporting Scriptures

We comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we receive from God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

We believe God as the ultimate healer for our holistic wellbeing, where our spirit, soul, mind and body be presented blameless unto Him.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

We represent the Lord in extending kindness to all walks of lives, especially the poor, needy, orphans, and widows.

Proverbs 19:17

Every time you give to the poor you make a loan to the Lord. Don't worry - you'll be repaid in full for all the good you've done.
